Dynanet Wins Multiyear Contract to Support the Defense Health Agency

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) announced in May that a team led by Dynanet prime partner Nolij Consulting has won a five-year, multi-million dollar contract to provide Program Management and Technical Support for the development and use of the Military Health System (MHS) Enterprise Architecture. The mission of the Enterprise Architecture Branch (EAB) is to explicitly and formally describe the current and target state MHS architecture, and provide diagnostic and actionable information that enables the transformation of military healthcare. This role is especially critical to the success of the transition from a legacy healthcare system architecture to the recently awarded MHS Genesis healthcare system.

Under the new contract, the team will provide:

  • Program management
  • Technical expertise
  • Standardization
  • Objective decision making
  • Effective and efficient system development
  • Strategic alignment with mission objectives

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency that enables the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA supports the delivery of integrated, affordable, and high-quality health services to MHS beneficiaries and is responsible for driving greater integration of clinical and business processes across the MHS.
