About the Role: 

Serve as the program manager typically responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locations. Provide overall direction of program activities. manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer’s organization. Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations. Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and 47 customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and assume the initiative and provide support to marketing personnel in identifying and acquiring potential business. 

 Roles & Responsibilities: Required Professional Skills: 

  • Certified by PMI as a Project Management Professional (PMP). 

Preferred Professional Skills: 

  • It is preferred that the Program Manager has at minimum, a Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL) v3 (or current equivalent).

Education/Experience Requirements: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related disciplines are required.  
  • A Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology is preferred. 
  • This position requires a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, of which at least five (5) years must be specialized. Specialized experience includes project development and management from inception to deployment, expertise in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms, demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts and / or subcontracts of diverse types and complexity.  
  • Overall experience should include increasing responsibilities in information systems design and / or management.
