Ms. Smith has over 20 years in Technical Recruiting, with 15 years of experience in the government contracting industry. She possesses a strong understanding of the full life-cycle recruiting from sourcing to offer negotiation through extending candidate offers.
Ms. Smith oversees the daily functions and activities in the Recruiting Department. Some of her responsibilities include posting new requisitions, maintaining employee tracking system in My Staffing Pro, communicating with hiring managers on resume submissions, negotiating employment offers, communicating with Senior Technical Recruiters, assisting in New Hire orientations, and organizing job fairs and open houses.
Ms. Smith is also responsible for instituting companywide HR policies and procedures to include our Employee Referral Programs, Affirmative Action and Compensation Plans, OFCCP Rules and Regulations, and EEO Employment Laws; coordinating and conducting hiring and exit interviews; reporting on recruiting metrics, Salary Surveys, and Terminations; hiring candidates with security clearances (including Secret, Top Secret, TSSCI, TS SSBI, and Poly); facilitating contract phase-in; and conducting Human Resources Management.
Ms. Smith received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management at the University of Maryland. She is also a Notary Public for the State of Maryland.
