Implement LTC-focused EMRs for clinical workflow customization along with the development of organizational training program to include ongoing post launch support

Client: Keswick Multi-Care, independent LTC facilities in the State of Maryland

Keswick Multi-Care formerly utilized an electronic medical records system that became insufficient to meet the needs of their organization.

Dynanet was tasked in converting the facility over to complete electronic patient records system which would eliminate the use of paper charts. Dynanet immediately identified challenges in resident charting and began evaluating LTC-focused EMRs based on their evaluations and the needs of the organization. Dynanet developed and implemented a training program which includes identifying super-users and trainers within the organizations, building best practice workflows to reflect the new EMRs capability and functionality, as well as building foundations with the EMRs for system design and customization.

Post launch support is currently scheduled for early spring 2015 which encompasses testing and validation as well as ancillary system integration with Pharmacy, Radiology, Rehab, Laboratory and HIE.
