Convert mainframe code, implement user interface improvements, add new functionalities, and provide testing

Client: Office of Personnel Management, Central Verification and Telephone Liaison Development (CVS)

Issue

Central Verification System (CVS) is a Web application used by many federal agencies to verify clearance status. The legacy ADABAS/Natural application needed to be modernized to a JAVA-based framework as part of the EPIC Transformation effort.

Solution

The Dynanet Team provided technical leadership for the development , testing, and defect resolution of the CVS application and migrated components to a Portlet environment. Additionally, we successfully integrated Identity Access Management (IAM) that restricts access at the individual screen field level.

Results

The CVS release is currently in User Acceptance Testing. Expectations are that users will experience improved response times due to load balancing of the clustered server environment and an enhanced user-experience resulting from the implementation of superior UI standards.
